Our ongoing commitment to making this site, and the sites we build for clients, usable by as many people as possible.

Our Accessibility Commitments
Our commitment
Accessibility isn't an add-on for us, it's part of how we build every site, including this one. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat that as an ongoing standard to keep working towards rather than a box to tick once and forget.
What's built into this site
- A "skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users
- Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks, and labelled navigation
- Keyboard-operable navigation, including the dropdown menus
- Colour choices checked for reasonable contrast against our background tones
- Animations that respect your device's reduced motion preference
- A responsive layout that reflows for different screen sizes and zoom levels
What we're still improving
Accessibility work is never really finished. We're continuing to refine things like the accuracy of screen reader announcements on interactive elements, and we review the site periodically as it grows with new pages and features.
Accessibility in the sites we build
The same principles apply to client projects. Where a client's platform, plugins, or supplied content limit what's achievable, we'll flag that clearly rather than let it go unmentioned.
Reporting an issue
If you find something on this site that's difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, please let us know at hello@yellanddigital.co.uk. We'll aim to respond and put things right as quickly as we can.
