Why ongoing maintenance matters
A website isn't a one-off purchase - platforms need security patches, hosting needs monitoring and content goes stale if nobody's updating it. We appreciate that most small businesses and charities don't have the time or the technical background to keep on top of that themselves, so this plan covers it for one predictable monthly cost. What's included
- Platform and plugin security updates, applied promptly
- Hosting management, so you're not left dealing with a provider directly
- Regular content edits - text changes, new images, updated opening hours and the like
- Optional CMS edit access, if you'd like to make some changes yourself between updates

Maintenance & hosting questions
Can you take over a site you didn't build?
Yes - this is one of our most common enquiries. We'll review the site first to check there's nothing that needs fixing before taking on ongoing management, and let you know upfront if anything looks like it needs attention.
How quickly are content edit requests turned around?
Small text and image changes are typically turned around within a couple of working days, often sooner. Larger changes are scoped and quoted individually (should they go beyond what's covered in your plan).
What happens to the site if I cancel the plan?
The site remains yours and keeps running - cancelling a maintenance plan doesn't take the site offline. You'd just be responsible for hosting and updates going forward, or free to move to another provider.
